We are situated next to the Caltex Service Station.
NOTE: We regret that we do not have the facility to store luggage at the Passport and Visa Section. Customers will therefore not be permitted to enter our premises with suitcases or rucksacks. Only small items of hand luggage will be permitted. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Directions for those arriving by plane
If you are flying to Canberra, the Visa & Passport Office is only a short few minutes walk from the Canberra International Airport terminal building. We are located at 39 Brindabella Circuit, beside the Caltex station.
- As you leave the arrivals hall and head outside, follow Terminal Drive around to the left
- After a few minutes of walking, you will reach Piccadilly House on the corner of Brindabella Circuit and Terminal/Tyson Drive
- The entrance is at the rear of the building adjacent to the car park
Directions for those arriving by car
The airport is well signposted all throughout Canberra. However the following directions may be useful for those arriving by car from Sydney or Melbourne.
Those coming from the Barton Highway (Melbourne)
- Follow the Barton Highway to its end where it meets up with the Federal Highway/Northbourne Avenue
- Turn right on to Northbourne Avenue and follow to Canberra city
- Turn left at Wakefield Avenue
- Turn right at Limestone Avenue
- Continue on Fairbairn Avenue - go through 1 roundabout
- At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Pialligo Avenue
- Piccadilly House is on the right hand side of the road just past the service station on the corner of Brindabella Circuit and Tyson Drive
- Parking is available at the rear of the building.
Those coming from the Federal Highway (Sydney)
- Turn left on to Majura road before you reach Canberra. Follow Majura road to the very end and then follow the signposts to the left to the airport.
- Piccadilly House is on the right hand side of the road just past the service station.
- Parking is available at the rear of the building.
